Summary

CEO - Nutraceutical Technology
Start up - Home based in US Our client is a technology transfer company, which transforms cutting-edge research into marketable medical technologies. They work with a broad range of partners, from early-stage science to clinical-stage programs.
The CEO will be responsible for managing and growing the business, including and new business development, with a focus on identifying and closing revenue generating licensing deals with partners. The CEO will identify categories that are in line with the Brand DNA and strategy. Researching the best prospects and presenting open category opportunities to decision makers such as company Presidents, VPs, and other decision makers.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercialization activities and negotiations with industrial partners and entrepreneurs for licensing IP and projects in the fields of medicine, therapeutics, and diagnostics • Identify expansion potential for each brand into new business opportunities • Grow and scale the business • Aggressively hunt and close new business • Meet/exceed sales targets • Develop good working relationships and collaboration with physicians and researchers and scout for interesting applicative projects • Pursue industrial contacts and collaborations with major industrial partners worldwide • Commercial assessment of patent protection of company's IP • Identify markets and applications for successful technology commercialization • Demonstrate how Company’s brands can help licensees meet their sales objectives • Tailor sales materials by studying each prospects' brand and marketing

Requirements

• At least 5-7 years of successful sales experience - ideally in licensing • Bachelor's degree required. Masters degree is a plus • Must have prior experience working in the Dietary Supplement, Nutraceutical Industry • Must have experience in licensing and negotiation processes • Experience in business development of projects in the industry (nutraceutical, dietary supplement) - significant advantage. • Experience in R&D of a novel technology or product within an industrial company – an advantage • Competent presenter of marketing materials and presentations • Familiar with patenting processes. • Experience in building strong partnerships to help translate innovations to therapies • Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills • Strong motivator, with an ability to build a network of people and organizations that appreciate and support the organization’s objectives • Excellent personal communication skills • Held senior roles\executives roles In return, they will offer a competitive compensation, bonus and equity.
