Our client is a large, global food and ingredient manufacturer. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced PRODUCTION SHIFT MANAGER in Blue Earth, MN.  This person is accountable for results in the overall supervision and daily output of the Processing and Packaging departments.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ÿ  Supervises one salaried supervisor and one non-salaried shift lead.

Ÿ  Manages approximately 40 processing and packaging personnel.

Ÿ  Ensures packaging, labor, and yield efficiencies meet or exceed standard levels.

Ÿ  Promotes a high level of safety consciousness among employees.

Ÿ  Works with the QC department to ensure all products are produced to the customers expectations.

Ÿ  Advises on matters of employee discipline; enforces and interprets Company policies and food safety.

Ÿ  Communicates current status of operations and daily priorities to on-coming shift management. 

REQUIREMENTS:

Ÿ  4-year college degree

Ÿ  Minimum of 4 years experience in a food manufacturing environment

Ÿ  Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience

Ÿ  Strong mechanical aptitude/ability

Ÿ  Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Ÿ  Team building skills

Ÿ  Quality Control experience

Ÿ  Able to be on your feet for up to 11 hours per day, and lift up to 50 lbs
