Account Manager

Location: U.S. Home Based

Job Description:

Account Manager is responsibility for sales of alcoholic beverage concepts and emulsification systems to Beverage Manufacturers and Marketers.  The position requires a highly motivated, self propelling, commercially dynamic individual who is capable of working independently, communicating effectively, realizing sales in the respective area, targeting new markets and customers and maintaining a network of industry professionals.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

·         MS degree in business economics or a related field, supported by experience in selling technology driven concepts and products.

·         Five to ten years commercial experience in the food & beverage environment.

·         Experienced in identifying new market opportunities and formulating applicable concepts for these.

·         Experience with dealing with retail organizations is helpful but not required

·         Experience with a variety of software programs i.e. Microsoft Power Point program and presenting market concepts to technically oriented groups.

·         Experienced with working in project teams

·         Comprehension of the Spanish language is helpful.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Realizing sales with the respective set of customers in North America.

·         Building and maintaining a network of contacts within the beverage industry

·         Scheduling presentations with ( potential ) customer's, and present concepts and products including its technical data.

·         Working closely with the R&D department both in the Americas as well as in Europe on various industry projects.

·         Developing, preparing and delivering market trends presentations.

·         Preparing product comparisons aimed at analyzing competitor's concepts and market activities as well as other products in the beverage industry market.

·         Representing Company at various beverage industry conventions and trade shows.

·         Traveling extensively in the United States to pursue new business opportunities and support established business relationships.

·         Reporting directly to the Branch Office Manager on all relevant sales activities.
