Regional Sales Manager
Location: East Coast
Our client is a large multifaceted company in several industrial sectors, with a significant presence in the food ingredients arena, seeks to grow and expand its market share in the Natural Health and Nutrition markets on the East Coast. The ideal candidate will work this job from a home office based anywhere in the Northeast and will require significant travel throughout the region.
DESCRIPTION:
Responsibilities include sales of ingredients in the Natural Health and Nutrition product line to manufacturers of vitamin supplements and food and beverages in the Eastern region of the U.S. Maintain existing account relationships and identify new customers and market segments to increase sales of Natural Health and Nutrition ingredients. Territory management, including effective call planning, timely documentation and thorough follow up on opportunities is essential. Secure and communicate market information/intelligence to Natural Health and Nutrition colleagues. Develop internal relationships within the company and communicate mutual ingredient opportunities across its divisions. Represent the company at industry meetings and tradeshows. Effectively utilize the Corporate Research and Marketing to help support customer’s development of new products and concepts.
