One of the world’s leading multinational companies developing, producing and selling natural, nutritional and high-quality dairy products, fruit-based products and ingredients is searching for a JR. AUTOMATION ENGINEER.  This position receives direct supervision from the Maintenance Supervisor, but must be able to work independently on most projects and with project teams. 

RESPONSIBILITES:

Ÿ  The establishment of maintenance SOPs for the existing software systems

Ÿ  Development of modification to and/or new software for existing systems

Ÿ  Discusses the software functionality with the principle users

Ÿ  Draw-up functional design specifications (FDS) for PLC, DCS, SCADA and/or MES systems

Ÿ  Review design and execution plan of software proposed by third parties

Ÿ  Draw up factory acceptance test (FAT) protocols           

Ÿ  Planning and execution of FAT together with supplier and principle users

Ÿ  Ensuring that all relevant documents and files are properly stored and archived

Ÿ  Adequately disseminate information on the use of the software through the establishment of an operating manual and providing instruction to all principle users

Ÿ  Assists in the determination of the standard equipment list

Ÿ  Assists Inventory Administrator in the defining of the stock spare parts list and critical articles within area of expertise 

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum 2 year degree in Engineering Related field with focus on Automation technologies plus 3 years experience or knowledge obtained through experience up to 7 years.
