JOB SUMMARY

Our client is a worldwide manufacturer of natural and organic ingredients providing its customers innovative sensory and nutritional solutions from selected fruits, vegetables, and meats. They provide the highest quality natural and organic extracts, concentrates, juices, powders and flavors on the market and sell into all segments of the food and beverage industry.  

Because of recent growth they are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Regional Account Manager to help grow and manage its expanding business on the West Coast. This position is responsible for selling directly to food and beverage manufacturers but will also be managing Brokers in the region.

Requirements  

• Applicants must be degreed with a BA/BS
• Must have at least 5 years of proven experience selling value added, specialty ingredients/flavors.
• Must have experience working for an ingredient/flavor manufacturer (as opposed to a broker)  
• Applicant must have experience calling on R&D  
• Must have a general technical understanding of ingredient and flavor applications.
• Must have food and beverage manufacturing contacts in the West Coast Region
• Must be living somewhere on the West Coast (CA, OR, WA, NV, AZ)
• Must be creative and capable of identifying customized ingredient solutions for customers.
• Must have technical application skills, be a good communicator and have above average presentation skills.
• Must be willing to travel frequently within the region.
