Our client is currently looking for an experienced QA MANAGER for their Tobacco manufacturing facility in the Memphis, TN area.  This position is responsible for management of the QMS process for the factory and is responsible for developing and maintaining systems, documentation and records required for support of the ASC Quality Management System (QMS) and regulatory requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ÿ  Lead, manage and develop direct reports via goal setting, coaching, performance evaluation, succession planning and developmental plans.

Ÿ  Maintain in-depth knowledge and understanding of quality management system requirements associated with WMS/cGMP standards and relevant regulatory requirements, interpret and provide guidance.

Ÿ  Lead projects to meet regulatory requirements and cGMP readiness.

Ÿ  Lead and manage adequate review of quality system performance via internal Quality audits.

Ÿ  Lead factory process for support os ASC Management Review.

Ÿ  Lead and implement ongoing plans for suitability of sampling plans, calibration and product traceability.

Ÿ  Lead the implementation of supporting processes for corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) process.

Ÿ  Implement an effective QMS strategy to ensure new equipment and processes meet QMS and cGMP standards for regulatory compliance; facilitate documentation and capture of records for new/changing processes, equipment and product/process/facility validation.

Ÿ  Provide guidance in establishing and revising quality system documentation. 

REQUIREMENTS:

Ÿ  BS/BA degree preferred.  Associates degree will be considered depending on experience.

Ÿ  MUST have TOBACCO MANUFACTURING EXPERIENCE

Ÿ  MUST have 5+ YEARS OF QUALITY MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE

Ÿ  MUST have FDA EXPERIENCE
