Job Description:

Growing Diversified Flavor and Ingredient Company seeks a high energy and motivated Regional Sales Manager - Specialty Ingredients. This position will manage key accounts in the Northeast region. Territory to include: NY, NJ, CT, PA, OH.    Position primarily calls on R&D groups with food and beverage manufacturers. Must have at 3 years of sales experience selling specialty ingredients. May consider applicants with less then 3 years provided they have some technical sales experience in the food industry with some product development, bench-top  experience. Company prefers applicants that have some experience selling specialty dairy ingredients, flavors or lipids. Key responsibilities include: Managing existing sales, Developing new business and expanding sales of new and existing product lines.

• Must have at least a BS/BA degree and prefers those with a Food Science or science related degree.
• Must have 3 years of experience selling Specialty Ingredients and/or Flavors
• Must have experience calling on R&D groups.  
• Ideal applicant will have some experience selling dairy based ingredients, flavors, lipids etc.    
• Prior R&D experience helpful but not required
• Must have excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Frequent travel is required within the assigned region.
• Applicant can be based anywhere in the region and will work from a home office.
