One of the Worlds leading Manufacturers of Flavors and Ingredients has a tremendous opportunity for an experienced SWEET FLAVORIST. This is a great opportunity to work with some of the industry's top professionals in a state of the art facility.  The experienced Flavorist provides essential support to key customers, internal and external, regarding the creation, duplication, selection and presentations of flavors. This position is primarily responsible for: producing and selecting the appropriate flavors to support the customer needs, assist in prototype formulation, flavor application interaction and building technical credibility with external customers through project interaction and successful flavor solutions.

• Coordinating work activities on multiple research projects to ensure that objectives are accomplished on time and within cost parameters.
• Develop, present and document information to a variety of audiences in a clear and concise manner.
• Generate and build innovative ideas that have a major impact on the business.
• Leverage all sources of technical and creative ideas, processes and materials to develop winning sweet flavors for beverages to the marketplace.
• Ensure commercialization success in execution of flavor development of documentation and work processes.

The qualified applicant

• MUST have a B.S. in Chemistry or related discipline .
• MUST have at least  5+ years of SWEET OR BEVERAGE flavor development experience with a Flavor Company or Consumer Products Flavor Group.
• Company prefers applicants that are Certified Flavor Chemists (not required).
• Must have a proven track record in flavor development and hands on bench experience.
• Must be an outstanding team player and have excellent communication and leadership skills.
•  Applicant must have a solid track record maintaining good working relationships with Business Partners (Product Development, Analytical, Sensory, Marketing, External Vendors etc.).
• Applicant must also have been successful in the creation and commercialization of sweet and/or beverage  type flavors.
